What a wonderful place to just come relax and eat wonderful food and also they have the best Turkish style coffee I have ever had in my whole life they open at 11:00 a.m. but they still serve breakfast unlike the other breakfast places around but if you would like some very excellent Middle Eastern cuisine Dandanah has the best food I have ever had in my life.. period.. it is also a bring your own alcohol restaurant and they also have hookah options for those that enjoy a nice talk off some fine Turkish blended tobacco while they eat their food it is an awesome dining experience and I recommend you bring your whole family here because it is a great place!!!
I had a great time here the service was good maybe a bit of a communication barrier, but our waitress was super friendly and accommodating. I was so stoked when the belly dancers came out. Also they let us bring our own bottles so that was a positive as we had intentions of going to nomad that was byob, so we had them on hand already. They even stored my things until I got back from another establishment and went the extra mile of packing me extra naan. garlic&hot sauce. Very much appreciated!!
We held a company event at Dandanah and requested a sampling menu served family style. The food choices chosen for us by the owner were absolutely amazing! The service was excellent. Amin our server took excellent care of us! Amin was so polite and helpful! Our employees loved the delicious food!
We were looking for a place to just chill relax and eat outdoor. Was a great layout lots of seating.Music was nice.My friend had hookah, she liked it.Food was ok nothing amazing but was ok.Saturday they have belly dancing. No kids.
Love this place. The food os great and so is the owner. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. This probably one of the few places in Houston serving authentic Egyptian food. They also make great expresso drinks
One of my favorite places to do hookah. They often have belly dancing in the evening. Good space outside and inside. The lamb shank is the bomb. Service is good. My one complaint is that their bathrooms aren’t the cleanest.
We went for buffet Iftar at dandanah in the last week of Ramadan. I had been at this restaurant once before, and I was very hesitant to come back, but I am glad I did. It was not crowded as I expected. Very good selection…of food for the buffet. Their Lemonade is very refreshing, and it is for sure one of best that I had ever had, so make sure you get the chance to try it in your upcoming visit to dandanah. More
We visited this place to eat lunch on Saturday the place was almost empty but it was very clean, I ordered a whole fish for 16.95 average price the food was average to medium and we enjoyed the customer service . They also have hooka…to smoke if you like. More
We tried the falafel, koshari, pita bread, and hibiscus juice. It was amazing. Just like when I visited Egypt. You can sit inside or the patio, which is beautiful. The servers were really great too. Can't wait to go back! Great pickles.
Though i have eaten few times. For me this mainly for shisha smoking. Typical middle eastern style and shisha. For families who do not like smoking, there is NO dedicated place for non smokers. Meaning wherever you sit, someone next to you might order shisha…and smoke, whether it is inside or outside. By the way, The patio is really nice for smokers. More
this is a real middle eastern restaurant where u can eat excellent Egyptian food ,the prices are high but the portions are big, they serve shisha or hookah ,the service is very nice and the crew are freindly
We had a decent time there, our waiter was friendly and highly recommend a few items. The food was good although if I’m honest it was over priced. I have eaten the same items for a lot cheaper at three other similar restaurants.
I had high expectations but unfortunately was very disappointed, low quality food, we had 1 plate of food & we left, no tea, no refill fruits no refill desert….the only think I liked is the staff is very friendly!
